Walk with Ease is a 6-week community-based physical activity and self-management education program offered on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 12:30-1:30pm from October 14th through November 20th.
The Walk with Ease program builds from one week to the next, and while walking is the central activity, the program also includes health education, stretching and strengthening exercises, and motivational strategies. The program includes a guidebook and a walking schedule to get you safely moving toward better health.
Meet at Sunset Library but plan to also walk at Sunset Park!
Registration required. Signing up registers you for all 6 sessions.
This program in partnership with the Area Agency on Aging is formulated for adults aged 60 and older.
