Events › Writer-in-Residence Consultation with Hailey Alcaraz

Chandler Public Library is excited to partner with the Arizona State Library and welcome Hailey Alcaraz Hershkowitz as our Writer in Residence from July through October.

During her time as a Writer in Residence, Hailey will offer 30-minute writing consultations to help aspiring authors fine-tune their work. All experience levels are welcome. 

Registration is required- limit one session per week.

Hailey Alcaraz Hershkowitz is the author of the young adult novel Up in Flames, published by Penguin Random House, with a second novel, Rosa By Any Other Name, forthcoming in 2025. In addition to fiction, Hailey writes blog content and a newsletter, and contributes bimonthly to ASAPIVS.com. She has worked as a freelance proofreader and copyeditor for Rising Action Publishing Collective and created English curriculum content for Teachers Pay Teachers.
