The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $69,000 or less.

Starting January 26, 2026 – April 14, 2026: Sunset Library VITA services are on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays: 9 AM – 1 PM walk in; first come, first served. No appointment necessary. 

IRS-certified volunteers will provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. Preparers are provided to the library by AZURA VITA.
